undershirt and wrap skirt

I think casual summer outfits may be among my all-time favorites!  It's not just the outfits, it's the warmth, the breeziness and carefree spirit that comes with it.  It's such a great feeling to be able to shove wet hair into a hat for the day and go!

This combination came together rather quickly as I was running out the door to run some errands.  I love the little pops of color, the understated cut-off men's undershirt (over a bright bra, no less) and of course, some lady-like heels.  Love and love.

I've been spending as much time outside as possible lately.  When you think how few warm-weather (and sunny) weekends we get in a year, it's a little depressing.  So, I'm savoring every moment of it.  Last weekend, something crazy came over me and I planted flowers.  Yes, me.  Planted flowers.  Something I was pretty certain I would never care to do.  And it had some magical soothing effect on me as I sat outside with my hands in dirt, combining my pretty little flowers into little works of art in their planters.  Then, this past weekend, we finally got some new patio furniture.  It's so comfy and cozy!  I just want to sit on my porch and eat breakfast and drink coffee.  All day.  Every day.
