On the heels of last week's inspired post, here's another little bit of sartorial inspiration in a very unlikely place: Wrigley's Gum! Wrigley's sent me a sweet pack of their candy (mmm, Skittles, Lifesavers and Starbursts!) and asked "How does Wrigley's inspire your fall look?"
Initially, I thought that I would be most inspired by the original Skittles - color-blocking and polka dots, anyone? But it was the "Electric Watermelon" 5 gum that reall made me smitten!
As the days grow shorter and the weather less vibrant, a pop of color is crucial to keeping an outfit upbeat and alive! And if these pants aren't watermelon, then I don't know what is! Paired with my favorite band tee (a Chicago band no less - how perfect!) and this thrifted boy's tux jacket, this combination made me smile. A big, bright red smile, of course!
