I realize I've been a bit sparse in these parts lately. And I've missed it SO much! It's been a crazy busy last couple weeks, so here's a brief update ... and some instagram goodness ...
one:: I've had a couple of giveaways going on in the last couple of weeks. The winner of the JCP $50 gift card will be announced tomorrow. Until then, please check out my current giveaway from the Shine Project. It's an amazing lady doing some amazing things!
two:: This guy turned five years old last week! I can't believe he's been in our lives for that long already. That also means that we've owned our first house for five years now, too. Crazy!
three:: I not only survived 53 hours at the fair and 30+ hours at other various jobs, but also managed to pass my level 2 assessments for derby. WHICH means, I've been drafted to the Pennsyltucky Punishers and will be skating in our first intraleague bout on October 1st!
four:: I got TWO pairs of new frames last week! I LOVE them! Seriously, this could be a really dangerous addiction. For those of you keeping count, I'm up to 4 pairs ... in 8 months.
five:: I walked away from fair with a pocket full of dough ... both the flour kind and the green kind. The next day, I spent several hours spending my hard-earned dough. I got lots of goodies - all either thrifted or seconds/overages from TJMaxx. And with the weather this week, it looks like I'll be able to pull out some fall goodies sooner rather than later. I have some mixed feelings about that.
